How to add Paygroup, Grade, Step in Paywings 4.2.?

 

The structure of compensation and pay cycle is Pay Group. As per international standards, the company has to define the pay structure and follow them .If a company or organization have existing Pay Group that can be added in Pay Group Tile and also new Paygroup can be created i.e for New Joining etc.

Pay Group Settings should be managed by HR or the admin in Paywings 4.2


Grades are defined to group the employees (within a Paygroup) and relate the compensations accordingly within the organization or company. For e.g. a company or an organization for e.g., shall define "M1", "M2", etc., as various grades in Management cadre.


'Steps' helps to group the employees to one more level to Grade. i.e., one Grade can have many Steps in which the employees would be mapped accordingly. Employee shall be promoted to next step every year until he/she reaches the last step of a particular grade, after which the employee moves to next grade and first step of that grade.



Firstly, user should create/add PayGroup -> Grade ->Step


Please follow step by step instructions as described in this document.

  • Click on "Paygroup" Settings tile.
  • Based on the permissions assigned from the ' Roles Tile', the user shall carry out Add, Edit, Update, Delete, Export options accordingly.


                                                                  


  • Click on 'Paygroup' button to show the existing  Pay Group, Description.
  • Click on 'add' button to create a New Pay Group.



  • User should enter Pay Group and Description.
  • Click on 'Save' button to save the entered details



  • To add Grade click on 'Grade' button.
  • Click on 'add' button to create a New Grade.
  • Now select the required paygroup from drop down.
  • User should enter Grade and Description. 
  • Click on 'Save' button to save the entered details.
  • To add Step click on 'Step' button.
  • Click on 'add' button to create a New Step.
  • Now select the required Grade from drop down.
  • User should enter Step name. 
  • Click on 'Save' button to save the entered details.
  • User should double click on the row to edit/delete/update the existed data in Paygroup,Grade,Step.
  • User should click  on 'update' button to update the edited data.
  • User should click on 'Delete' button to Delete a row.



  • A message pops "Are you sure you want to Delete this Record", click on Yes Button to delete the row.
  • To Expoprt the data in Paygroup,Grade,Step click on 'Export' Button.
  •  A message pops click on Ok to export the data.



  • Select the location where you want to export the data
  • Click on Save Button.



  • A message pops File has been exported successfully.Click on ok button.
  • Exported data will be displayed in Excel Sheet.
